Terms & privacy

1. About this site

This website (wamwangi.com) is operated by Mark Mathenge Wamwangi (“Mark Wamwangi”) for general information about professional background, approach, and ways to get in touch. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding offer, quote, or contract.

2. No professional relationship

Browsing this site, booking a call, or sending a message does not create a client, employment, or advisory relationship. Work only begins after both parties agree in writing — typically an employment contract, contractor agreement, statement of work (SOW), or engagement letter — with scope, fees, and terms defined.

3. Case studies & metrics

Case studies and figures describe past engagements and outcomes in specific contexts. They are illustrative only and do not guarantee similar results for future work. Company and product names are used descriptively to identify past work; trademarks belong to their respective owners. No endorsement is implied unless explicitly stated in writing by that party.

4. Advisory & general information

Content on this site is general information, not legal, financial, tax, or security advice. Decisions about systems, vendors, or architecture should be made with your own qualified advisers and based on a formal engagement with agreed scope.

5. Contact & availability

Enquiries are reviewed in good faith, but there is no obligation to respond and no guarantee of availability or fit. Initial conversations are exploratory and confidential only to the extent agreed in writing (e.g. mutual NDA).

6. Privacy

If you use the contact form, your name, email, and message are used only to respond to your enquiry — typically via email. Non-essential cookies (analytics, live chat) load only after you consent via the cookie banner. See the cookie & session policy for details. Live chat via Tawk.to may collect messages and basic session data under their privacy policy when the widget is enabled. No contact details are sold. To request deletion of a message you sent, use the email reveal on the Connect page.

7. Limitation of liability

This site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mark Wamwangi is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. Liability for paid work, if any, is governed solely by the written agreement for that engagement.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For formal engagements, governing law and jurisdiction are as set out in the signed contract.
