On Baze (via Big Bold Red), I brought prior media and VOD platform expertise into that environment — contributing as a senior backend engineer while also supporting systems and platform delivery conversations across product, platform, vendors, and leadership.

What the engagement covered

Hands-on senior backend engineering on the product stack, paired with delivery support: sequencing work across streams, coordinating technical and non-technical stakeholders, and helping keep release discipline clear on a high-stakes media product.

That mix mattered. The work was not status reporting alone, and not ticket work in isolation — it was translating platform constraints into decisions leadership could weigh, and turning business pressure into workstreams engineering could execute.
